Popped in for a couple of drinks between shoping and and a cream tea at the nearby hotel. Two young ladies working on the bar were very friendly and helpful. Took time to chat with us and we never felt rushed. Nice comfortable atmosphere and very clean.

Staff were borderline friendly, I guess nearer closing time your presence can be a burden for staff wanting to go home. Beer was okay. Furniture looks old, sofas look like they were found in staff accommodation, old and tattered.

Excellent staff, but almost no Beers on tap. Shouldn't have opened. Owner should use imagination and buy in a ton of bottled beers instead. Could be a nice pub

We visited when it was quiet. The venue really lacked atmosphere when there's only a couple of tables of people - even just dimming some lights would make it feel a bit more cosy. As a result we left after one drink but would've happily stayed for more of it felt a bit more welcoming. Member of staff was nice, although was more interested in chatting to some locals than making sure we were all served.

We regularly have a pre-Christmas, lunch here and I can say it has always been a good venue to go to. Tasty food and good beer!
