Spoons #33 on my collection, coffee stop only on this occasion £1.25 now gone up a little but still great value, half price of anywhere else and the Lavaza is refillable as many times as you like. Nice place in the centre of town with limited free parking just around the corner for half an hour. Lots of pay and display parking near by if free parking not available. Out door seating available for people watching

The venue was very welcoming and the staff were very welcoming and polite at the bar. We ordered our food and it arrived very quickly and was piping hot. The waitress was very polite and looked like she enjoyed her job she even came back to check if everything was okay. We will definitely be going in there next time we are in Stafford

Nice modern looking Wetherspoons let down by whoever cooked my burger......
American Cheeseburger. New on the menu, thought I would be choosing an easy to cook, no brainer option but both my burgers were so burnt they crunched. OK so they replaced it with no fuss, but this time they forgot to toast the bun and it was cold, the burgers were still burnt too but not as bad as before.
I think the worst part was my mate laughing at me as his fish and chips were perfect and I had ignored his advice on having the same. The chips and beer were excellent btw.
Lovely decor and an ok atmosphere, very empty of people considering we went Friday 7pm compared to my local Wetherspoons which is rammed to bursting every Friday and Saturday.

First time in this particular spoons and found the staff really friendly and helpful. Watched a World Cup match whilst two of us ate burgers with a drink and the whole thing cost us less than a tenner. What’s not to like? A big thumbs up from me.

Lovely food, fast and friendly service. I had ordered a little too much to eat and one of the ladies serving us was kind enough to offer a takeaway box.

Edit:
31st Dec 2022: Went in today for lunch, decided to try the sliced turkey with winter veg but had chips instead of mash.
Gravy was cold, but to be fair they did reheat it for me, and to be completely honest you would be happier with a microwave meal from Iceland.

Ordered gammon egg and chips but got boiled ham, made me feel sick 🤮.
Pepsi was nice though
Went again and had pasta alfredo and it was freezing cold (not exaggerating)
Coffee was nice for a change

Edit:
19th Jan 2023:
Went back today for lunch and had chicken tikka masala and a coffee .
The masala was ok ,poppadoms were a bit too greasy for my liking and hardly any chicken in the curry but apart from that it was ok.
I would like to just say that I know they have mango chutney with the curry but it would make it bette/more enjoyable if they put a small pot of mint yoghurt with it aswell . Just a suggestion maybe ?

I have no idea why they are planning to close this venue - it was heaving! The member of staff who served drinks & food to our table couldn't have bern more helpful - food good - only downside was it was very noisy (then again, we are on the run up to Christmas and spirits seemed high)! But for the noise levels I would have given 5 star's
