First thing first - this place does not have a bar. Actually that isn't true, but they won't entertain you entering without the intention of dinning with them.
Four of us tried to pop into this place after work for a drink. Upon being shown where the small bar is by one member of staff, after being warned that is would be cramped, another member of ended up questioning us, and our intentions for some time. Once we explain that we were just trying to get one drink and where happy standing, seeing as he told us we're weren't allow to sit, he continued to try and tell us there wasn't a bar here, despite being told by another member of staff it was. Eventually he let us be and dealt with some customers, upon leaving his table he pushed, with intent, one member of our group who nearly fell over.
This is beyond rude and is simply unacceptable. I implore you to avoid this place at all cost simply because of this behaviour.
The irony is I always looked forward to visiting what looked like a nice local pub. Never again!

Had a meal in Steers, atmosphere good, service excellent, food really good and tasty. I will be coming again. New business with a new beginning, give them a chance. We did and we will be back. Staff were all very accommodating. Fillet - A+++

Nice boozer! Stopped in here to avoid rain while I was waiting to get into my accommodation. Nice casual atmosphere with a lovely barman who appeared out of nowhere quickly when my son spilt a drink! I also had a really lovely real ale who’s name I wish I could remember.

Definitely a 'boozer', nice locals, plenty of sport shown, good jukebox, pool table, decent beer and great bar staff. Parking, and until they do their own food (pending) you can eat your takeaway in there if you ask nicely! I'll be back.

Lovely pub. Great service. If you have a private party here though, be aware that kids have to be out still by 9pm. So don't plan anything child heavy! Otherwise, it's pretty nice.

This Pub Was The Best by Far.. great weekends in here playing pool, watching the football and having a laugh with my mates and evening watching the entertainment on a Saturday. Gemma & Lennie made this pub they were great for this pub they turned it around and always went the extra mile. BRING THEM BACK…. We need them and the pub back!! Hopefully it will happen sad to see how it is atm….

Amazing Pub, excellent drink option, very very friendly staff, Very Clean… and a Very great atmosphere… people get worried about this pub and I do not see why? Never judge a book and you should give it a chance!!!

We recently held a birthday party there using their function room. The staff (Gemma and Lenny) were so helpful and would accommodate anything that we asked for. If you are looking for a nice little venue with friendly staff you wont get much better. Plus the function from is free to hire.
