Inkwell at Lichfield

Nice clean pub, food was cooked perfect and staff friendly but if your hoping for a quite meal it's not here... kids running around dogs barking and slow service let our late valentines meal down.

March 2022 Just had a lovely meal in the Inkwell at Litchfield. Nice place with an excellent outdoor area. Great place to sit outside on a sunny day. All four meals were excellent and the staff very pleasant and professional. We will visit again when in the area.

Had a great meal and fantastic service from the staff at The Inkwell this evening. All the staff were friendly and relaxed making us feel welcome. Special mention for Faith our waitress who served us impeccably with a smile. Particularly like the way she used the history on her tablet to identify the repeat round of drinks. The food was great and all 4 of us enjoyed our different meals so no accident there. This is the second time we have been there and this visit was just as good as the first which shows the culture is there to give you a great time. Thanks to the team.

Great dog friendly pub. Had a lovely meal here with the family and the dogs. Staff were really friendly and accommodating and the dogs loved it. On arrival we were given a bowl of fresh water some biscuits and a towel for them. Really good choice on the menu, can recommend the signature burger, very very nice. Everyone In the party enjoyed their meals and can also recommend the ice cream Sundaes if you have room.

Enjoyable meal out! I popped in with the rest of the family for the first time a on a Saturday afternoon and received a warm welcome from the staff there. My wife and I Ordered a burger which was very tasty and the kids enjoyed their meals. Decent prices for a nice meal out in Lichfield. Highly recommended!

Amazing place, amazing staff, amazing service, amazing food.
Absolutely cannot fault anything about our visit. There were 16 of us. Nothing was too much trouble. Nobody waited too long for meals and they were hot and delicious.
Big shout out to the lovely welcome at the door and to our waitress who did not stop all night!!

Two great mix grills & pints. The extra sweet potato fries was a good sized portion and done just right.
Staff were great, our server Sophia had just the right level of attentiveness to allow us to enjoy a relaxed lunchtime meal but ensured we had everything needed.
Only minor quibble was the guy who meet&greet put us a table far from light when the place was practically empty. No issues when we asked to move tables.
