I have now visited this pub on a few occasions with my partner, children and family. Lovely pub with amazing food and drinks, polite and very friendly staff and always willing to help cant reccommend enough 😀

Pre wedding stay over ,welcoming staff ,had an evening meal that I would highly recommend, rib eye steak cooked to perfection, can't rate this hotel any higher ,brilliant well worth a visit or stay over .

We went for sunday lunch it was very nice. It was a 2 course meal started with a carvery of 3 meats and a choice of 6 puddings and with 2 drinks £38 very good value for money. Staff was very good and the place was very clean will be going back when in the area again

Ate in restaurant didn't stay. Steak was good the rest poor. Limp chips and salad garnish but the peppercorn sauce was a travesty. Glutinous, congealed and lacking in flavour, hands down the worst I've ever tasted. No sign of cream involved and precious little pepper. More than disappointed but easily fixable and it'll be a good steakhouse.

Lovely place, great staff, nice beer, good service, yummy food, spotlessly clean, comfy beds, perfectly located on the route of offa's dyke path, lovely little touches like flowers on the window, seats, table, nicely decorated, thank you

We had our works xmas meal here and got to say it was beautiful.. lovely food and setting and lovely staff and Luke and Casey were fantastic and nothing too much trouble! Keep up the good work everyone and support your local!!!

We arrived just in time before the rush started, and the poor girl behind the bar was rushed off her feet. It was the day of the food festival, so I thought the management may have planned for additional customers. Additional staff did eventually turn up to help her. We agreed to share a table with another couple who arrived at the same time. The food we all had was well prepared and tasty and we all enjoyed our meals very much. I had the pie with mash and a lovely gravy, and my wife said her fish and chips was excellent. We will return to this venue

We waitress was brill!! I had a southern fried chicken burger and it was PENG the fries were fried to perfection. The location was adorbs and had a heartwarming atmosphere I defo recommend. Overall I totally loved it COME HERE NOW!!! lots of love lala and moo
