Brilliant beers. A range of real ales, well kept and served with a smile. There are five guest beers that change regularly. I had one of my favourite pints; Timothy Taylor Landlord, it did not disappoint. Alongside beers there are also a range of ciders and snacks.

One of the best pubs in Pickering. 6 real ales on offer and kept well.
2 rooms and one bar. Clean, friendly and cosy.
No surprising that it gets several CAMRA awards.
A big beer garden. In which a beer festival is held over about 3-4 days in September under a large marquee.
Easy walking distance from the town centre on Westgate.
Highly recommended.

Went for the beer festival. Very well kept real ale. The staff and landlady are really friendly and accommodating. The locals seemed like a good crowd too. Hope to return one day

By far the best pub for miles around, great selection of superbly kept beers, friendly owners/staff who go the extra mile. Nothing too much trouble, child friendly, dog friendly and a real traditional pub.

Excellent pub for real ale. Worth walking the short distance out if the town centre to get to.

Beautiful family run local pub with a good menu and the food was excellent. Local craft beers. The local store is also situated on the premises
