Clean and presentable pub. Adults food was good from the snack shack menu although kids meal let it down. The tomato and cheese chicken did not taste good :(
Good value for money. Just a shame about the kids meal. Would definitely give it another try.

Went in for a birthday meal with the family we all had a meal on a skillet expecting it to come out sizzling and it looked and came out as if it had been sat waiting for a while to go out. My sons meal (XL mixed grill) was missing an egg and came later, the sausage was dry in the middle and should have really been put on a larger skillet or a normal large plate the an XL mixed grill just looks overloaded on the normal ones.

Having said that the atmosphere was nice, the staff were pleasant and friendly.

Only 4 stars purely on the overloaded look of the XL mixed grill. Get that right and I'd happily give it 5.

Really friendly pub, offering good food at a reasonable price. Booked a table for Sunday lunch for a group of 10 young people with a learning disability. Time given to each member of group to order, pay, get a receipt etc. All done by staff with care, kindness and courtesy. All the food came out within minutes of each other. No sense of being rushed or an being an inconvenience even though the pub was busy. Checked out we had everything we needed and were happy to help with special requests. All the young people love coming here and we will be back again!

Locall pub, close to the centre of town, and a great social house the local football ground! ⚽️

Service was excellent. They made sure I was looked after despite increasing volumes of people pre-preparing for the up coming spirites match.

Food quality a options were better than I expected. For all things considered: waiting time on meals was well on track from ordering to serving.
The cheeseburger and garlic bread was good a cooked very well. 🍔
For desert I wasn't expecting much cause I also love a biscoff cheesecake.

Seen the layout for years and the design has always fit well with each changing year despite hardly anything ever changing.

All the staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was really nice and the choice was amazing......so much to choose from. It was well cooked and it didn't take long to get served. I'd definitely go back!

Cheap and cheerful. It's a does what it says on the tin place. Always plenty of food.

Returned for a second attempt and was impressed! It was a saturday lunch time and extremely busy the staff advised there would be a wait for food which was appreciated. The Guinness was beautiful very well kept beer! Table clean, had everything we needed and the food was good really hot and huge portions! Had the chip butty challenge ! Wow - will return

Very good choice of of the flaming grill section the mango chicken skewers very tasty.. Hubby enjoyed his mixed grill plenty on the small. Lado polished his steak skewers to... Over all the food was amazing and a very good menu choice
