Rose & Crown

Me and my boyfriend go in this pub nearly every week. Absolutely fantastic place from the drinks, food and weekly events to the awesome American diner decor! But what tops it off is Kim, Mark and the rest of the Morgan’s team, such amazing and friendly people and always people you can have a laugh with.

Friendly staff and very welcoming. Opted for the pie. 40 years in the making = pie perfection. Tender meat with light & fluffy pastry. We’ll be back soon

Like many people I have walked past the Rose & Crown many times but tonight I went in, and what a revelation. Friendly staff, good beer, home made food and good prices what's not to like. If you are in the area do yourself a favour and enjoy all the Rose and Crown has to offer.

Went last Wednesday for the first time. Had a fantastic experience. Kim was helpful and really friendly. The food was lovely and at an affordable cost. Really nice american decor. I would go again.

Seven of us booked for lunch and received a really warm and friendly greeting on arrival, got our drinks at the bar and then took our seats anticipating the arrival of the menu, now this is my type of reading, so much variety so difficult to choose but I went for the turkey, stuffing and cranberry roll with chips, I asked if it was possible to have a little gravy to go with it and was happy that this was possible. When the food arrived my jaw dropped, portion size was really good and my little bit of gravy was my own gravy boat full, boy was this good gravy, I even dipped my roll (you can take the girl out of London etc.....) devoured every scrap on my plate. We were all like pigs in the proverbial, every option selected went down a storm. Next time I'm definitely having the Morgan's Steak pie. Kim and Mark are the business, keep doing the same guys. Well this is a bit different, what appears to be a conventional pub hides a secret a rather cool US style diner, but along with traditional diner food it also serves some great home made food including a superb steak pie and a very decent curry. Great for kids and dog friendly. highly recommended, good fun place with superb service
