Our first visit to this lovely old pub we went on a Sunday and had a amazing roast dinner i had the pork which was really tasty and had a crumble for dessert washed down with two lovely pints of extra cold guiness. Would highly recommend great food and super service from our waitress will be back 👍

Nice place, nice people, nasty prices (well no more than other pubs, but I'm old enough to know a bank loan wasn't required)...

Best Sunday roast in Norwich!

Staff were all very nice, so don't really understand the negative reviews on here. It is a bar, not a restaurant, so not really sure what others were expecting in terms of being shown to their table and waited on, but I was very impressed! Everything exceeded my expectations and we were treated very well.

The only thing I would say is that the ladies toilet could do with a bit of a makeover, a bit grubby but not too bad.

Everything else spot on. 👌

Been trying to get in for months after hearing about TB Roast.
The Hype was worth it , easily the best Roast I’ve had in years .
Beef Brisket was amazing, juicy and cooked to perfection . Lovely veg , Cauli cheese , roasties and Yorkie all delicious .Crumble for dessert . Loads of friendly young staff ,great atmosphere & well priced .
Book up early ,otherwise you won’t get in !!!

My partner and I arrived on a very busy Sunday afternoon. It was obviously popular since it felt like we had walked into organised chaos!
Greeted, promptly and efficiently by staff we waited at the bar for our table. The staff were working so hard ,and watching the team working together was a triumph. Having spent my life in Hospitality it actually brought a tear to my eye.
Our meal arrived, I chose the beef and hubby had the pork belly. Both were cooked BEAUTIFULLY and presented well.
We actually counted 13 different vegetables in total, a little of each, and not a grey mushy 'undesirable' in sight.
I'm so impressed, and will spread the word on this little gem.
For £12.95 and the standard of our experience, we are sure to return .

Brilliant Irish pub, actually run by an Irishman. Great craic. Superb Guinness. Great live music. Large outside area. Cannot fault this place. Always a warm welcome and a smile.
