Poor show of Sunday roast. Something resembling a pancake was served as a Yorkshire pudding with raw brocolli and raw red cabbage. Would have been better to say they had run out rather than to serve a pancake. So many components e.g pigs in blanket with turkey, cranberry sauce etc were missing. Clearly the chef was on holiday or is it always this bad. Haven’t visited for sometime and will be a longtime before visiting again.

Came here yesterday 31/08/22 for food and a drink was welcomed and served by a very friendly staff member called Katie, she went above and beyond to all our needs. This staff member needs to be recognised cause there's not may places I've been to that go above and beyond definitely a credit to the Cwrt Rawlin team. The meals were fantastic plated well and were very enjoyable your kitchen staff/ chefs also needs a thank you.
Will definitely be coming back soon, maybe a Sunday lunch. Thank you again Katie for making our 1st time memorable.

I arrived at the pub looking for a quick, yet late, lunch. I was quite pleased that it was a Marston's affiliated pub as I've been quite pleased with them in the past. Unfortunately, this wasn't as great of an experience. My meal was forgotten about and after about 25-30 minutes of waiting an employee came over to tell me there had been an error with the order system from the app.
I ordered the Hunter's chicken and breaded garlic mushrooms, which were good but not the best I've had.

Visited tonight for a birthday meal with the family, we all had the gammon and tried with sweet potato fries this time, absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked and to be honest one of the nicest meals we've had here. Compliments to Ieuan who cooked our meals.
Service from Steve and Angela was great as always, very friendly and efficient. All in all a lovely evening here with a family friendly and warm atmosphere. Well done all!

Staff friendly and service was quick. Looks as if had been renovated since my last visit. Had the Mexican Nachos sharing platter, it was too much for one, the food was good and the atmosphere relaxed. Was told by the Chef that although a breakfast was not on the menu they could put one together.

We went there for a meal and could not get any as they said they were hosting a party but could not know that until we sat down and probably waste time looking at the menu.

If there was a sign to tell customers that they were closed that time we would not search for parking and sat on their chairs, let alone perusing the menu.

People need not to book fir a table in thus place as far as I remember. So, it turns out that customers need to call on Saturdays before they go. Only if they do not want to be disappointed like we did.

Anyways, after the response below I figured out that it is not a norm and would give it a try. I recommend everyone to give it a second chance.

Most amazing staff, a big thank you to Aimee for an expectational service who went above and beyond to make us feel like home. Good hearty food that everyone loves. One thing I can fault is not promoting lovely Aimee.
