Lovely pub/restaurant. The owners have put a lot of hard work into creating a friendly, relaxed and inviting atmosphere. The menu is extensive, seasonal, with something there for everyone. The food arrives beautifully cooked and presented by efficient, friendly staff. Looking forward to my next visit.

Just had an absolutely delightful party held for our 25th wedding anniversary at the Docks. Their staff , the room and the food were all absolutely outstanding and everyone of our guests have said they will be back due to the high quality from The Docks, they were so impressed. We of course will be back as we know how good you are. No hesitation in recommending the team at the Docks - Superb!

The Docks (also known as The Cross Keys) is a great pub with cosy bars and a separate dining room. We had a very enjoyable birthday dinner here. High quality food with a number of veggie choices, friendly staff and good atmosphere. Definitely recommend this place!

Lovely place. Still nasty good old fashioned parts but along with spacious dining room. Very wide choice on the menu- something for everyone. Lovely food, lovely people, excellent service. Many thanks.

This is a pub not sure about the hotel side of things. The staff are very freindly and helpful. Foods was lovely and the beer was good too. Highly recommended.

Didn't stay overnight but went for Sunday dinner excellent food although maybe a little expensive. Nice environment and lovely and warm and welcoming, attentive staff friendly. So all in all would recommend it for food and drink. Nice outside area for the coming better weather.

Called in today for lunch, after the initial disappointment when I found out that they don't serve sandwiches, the experience turned out to be excellent. There is a good choice available from the menu if you only want a smaller meal, my wife and I both had a burger each.
Mine was a pheasant and chorizo one with brie, bacon and chips. The meal was delicious, just right for our needs today. The place has now been renamed, "The Docks" it's a typical old English pub, well presented inside and out. Log fires and comfy chairs, what more could you ask for? Friendly service clean surroundings and good real ale.
Can't wait to return.
