We only popped in for lunch after following the signs from the A road and what a find!
Beautiful little rural village pub, with an idealicly English garden and so peaceful.
Food was great pub grub and reasonably priced.
Would highly recommend for a hot, sunny afternoon.

Food was lovely we eat hear 2 times in our stay. Note it shuts weekdays at 3pm till 5pm and you will need to book as tables go quickly. All the pubs are dog friendly.

Had a great time playing here with my band for the annual beer festival yesterday.

I'd recommend it to anyone who fancies a beautifully situated pub with immensely helpful staff.. and the food I ate was simply awesome.

Had lunch and it was fantastic value for money. Large portions and very filling. Excellent service. Dog friendly inside the pub.

Great pub lovely atmosphere, friendly people. Had a good evening and a sing along! With the musical entertainment the Hoodoo's 😃 fantastic.

Great food (forgot to take a picture) The bar is dog friendly. This pub reminded me of an old school pub that isn't too common anymore!

Only went for Sunday lunch as it's our local pub. The food was really well cooked and a choice of 3 meats of which you can have 2 on your plate. Also a fair choice of desserts all of which are very well presented and a good sized portion. There is a good choice of wine's and ales. The dining room is clean, Warm and comfortable. All in all a lovely place.

Went for a meal. Very friendly staff. Excellent food. As they packed in the main bar we were taken to the function room. Just the four of us and a member of staff . Well worth a revisit when we are down in the area again
