Had a family dinner here whilst on holiday in the area. Incredibly welcoming and friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. Great menu - had a delicious steak, perfectly cooked - everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals and drinks. Would definitely return if in the area again. Nice little kids play area and seating outside and lovely setting on the river.

Staying nearby so visited this gorgeous pub twice. What a lovely location and building. Outside seating area across the road alongside the stream was really nice. Food nice, good selection on the menu and reasonably priced. Very friendly, helpful staff, would recommend 👍

Biker Friendly - Superb, tucked out of the way, country pub. Its a Free House too. I stayed in room 1 which was spacious and very comfortable. Big bath tub to have a nice soak in and sparkly mermaid board to make it a bit special.
The ales are very well kept and the food was delicious.
Big car park and a lovely outside seating area to relax in. Mealtimes are very popular and booking a table advised even if you are staying here.

Fabulous pub, location and food. Portion sizes are really good and the food is tasty. Would absolutely recommend to others and we will definitely be going back. A meal for 7 with 2 courses and a couple rounds of drinks cost £150. Bloomin good value.

Lovely old pub built 1700's. Only called in for a drink, food looked good ,landlord very pleasant & helpful. + Other side of the road a flowing small river where ducks where bathing.Where children could watch or play .

Stopped by for lunch after visiting the nearby Cleeve abbey. What a delightful traditional English pub, a cosy looking interior with a good selection of ciders, beers ales and spirits. The outdoor seating is next to a small stream with loads of wildlife.
The food we had was excellent, the burger is amongst the best I've had and the accompanying chips were really crisp with a fluffy interior.
A real little gem of a place.

Lively local pub with average traditional food and friendly staff.
Noisy but fun quiz night - could do with better microphone!
Rooms clean but only small double bed with a bouncy mattress.
Good Choice at breakfast

Stayed a couple of nights for a wedding. Pub was fine. Staff and room was all good. The room was basic but fairly priced so no complaints really. Food was also tasty and not unreasonably priced.
