Absolutely gorgeous food, wonderful seasonal menu and great service. What a little hidden gem. They have a great selection of drinks and a bar and restaurant area. Food is a reasonable price and of great quality.

Our last meal in England couldn’t have been better. The service was friendly and attentive. Sensational food, great ales & lovely wine... A creative menu that caters for carnivores & veggies alike.. Loved it..😘👌🏽

Great pub! They managed to squeeze a family table of 10 on a warm Friday evening. Food was superb and served quickly and with a smile, good selection of drinks too! Highly recommended.

Just back from a two night break at the Hare and Hounds, our 1st visit and we simply just loved the place, the whole team work so hard to ensure everything is spot-on, everyone was so friendly, the place and rooms are in excellent condition and spotless. We ate both nights in the Barn restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed it, top quality ingredients prepared and cooked to perfection. We are very much looking forward to a return visit, many thanks

Simply wonderful, the staff,food,ambience and the pub where it is.
If you have friends and family you want to take out for a special meal...or just a day out it's somewhere always lovely.

Excellent food and fabulous service, the staff were very helpful and the food was super tasty :) I’ll definitely be returning! Oh and the beer was on point too

A stunning pub on the edge of the lake District.

The beer choices were great, all showcasing the best of local ales. The pub was warm, with a relaxed atmosphere.

The staff we all really friendly. Can't wait to go back and possibly explore an overnight stay.

Despite being very busy,they found us a table after a very short wait.The food and service were both excellent.Would go there again, and suggest anyone visiting the lake District to try this place.
