The landlord and landlady went above and beyond, the rooms were excellent, clean and bright. Twisted ankle they were there with TLC and a support, lost phone at the Cider Festival not a problem, they phoned a friend, who then phoned a friend, within 20 minutes phone was with security to collect next day. The breakfast was really nice and got us started everyday before the festival.
What a friendly pub to stay, I would not hesitate to stay here again, cannot recommend enough
Thank you

Lovely roast dinner with a variety of meat choices. Fish course and veggie too. Big dessert menu, all delicious. Play park is on of the best in the area, lots of green space too outside. Dog friendly, car park, large kids meals. We'll be back!

Large pub with a few rooms for overnight stays. Only 15 mins from Chepstow. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Good English breakfast, 3 or 4 beers on in both bars.
Large function room and even larger garden, pet and children friendly. Well worth a visit.

Booked for a sunday roast after reading good reviews. Not sure where they came from as it was more like a canteen than a pub! Vegetarian option was a mound of spiced rice (not a nut roast) with two roast potatoes and 1 parsnip. The sharing platter of veg looked sad and soggy. Would not recommend to anyone who wants a nice roast dinner

Good old traditional establishment. Problem was they didn’t serve dinner on certain nights so went hungry. Breakfast good. Hotel Guest.

What a lovely find, tucked in a quiet village nearby to larger areas. The pub has a very nice selection of locally brewed beers and ciders as well as spirits. The seating is open and friendly with a warm atmosphere. The staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

£8.20 for a double gin and lemonade in a plastic cup absolutely disgusting. I'm sorry but that's daylight robbery. Really bad to rip people off like that . Would not recommend this place to anyone !
