A friendly historical old world style village pub. Excellent service serving b&b with good value home cooked food menu teas and coffees and a good selection of alcohol. A great place to meet for walkers hikers family and friends. With TV and games room and snug with real log fires and with plenty of great local walks with excellent scenery and also central to many nearby locations of interest.

Stayed over for two nights through Airbnb, was a little strange that towels weren't included even though ensuite and the soap was. Also had no TV remote and despite playing with the set buttons, I couldn't get anything on it.

Nice Room, nice food in the pub. Noise directly outside the door from pub, which got a little rowdy at times.
This was a Saturday night though.

absolutely fantastic pub and staff Craig is an excellent team leader and I hope this comment alone will get me a discount on my tab - this is a must visit experience - for both food and drinks...

Gigged there with our band ( sandraiser) last night. What a friendly place. Great people and a great village pub. Hope to be back there again soon.
