The reason why I much prefer Stones gym is purely because of the atmosphere and vibe whilst working out. As well as everyone that attends is genuinely friendly & helpful.

The gym includes access to a sauna area for only £35 a month which is great for the price. The gym has all the equipment and free weights that one would need. As well as this you have free access to a locker during your whole workout session.

The gym has a female section which is accessible for female ONLY on a Wednesday.

Although, the gym is marginally small in comparison to other gyms. However, the atmosphere makes up for this.

The gym also has parking should you need it

Staff are nice. Facilities still need to to get to a good standard. Leaking pipes/roof, old bikes and too many running machines not working for over 6 months. Pool, Sauna and steam work fine

It's not worthy to pay for this gym. Prices went up £41/months, plus the general manager who is super rude and disrespecting ladies only area by entering anytime he wants, despite the complains decided to reduce opening hours. The gym is very dirty ,especially wet area. Machines are not getting fix for 6 months! Definitely there is a lot to change in management and refurbishment is a must.

Terrible gym. How this place currently has a four star rating is beyond my understanding.

Half of the cardio machines are constantly broken: treadmills, cycling machines, rowing machines, cross trainers, just tons of broken machines that never get fixed.

The changing rooms are disgusting. Extremely poor ventilation so everything is damp and mouldy, rusty and/or broken lockers, dirty, dark, cramped. Recently (Dec 22), the women's changing rooms were bad and the women complained so instead of actually fixing any of the problems they just swapped the changing rooms over and put the men in there instead! We've been there ever since. So despite the fact there are vastly more men and the changing rooms were deemed not sanitary enough for the women, the inveterate management decided to put the men in there instead, probably because they figured that as men we would not complain and just get on with it. If we men had any dignity at all we would quit en masse but the reality is there are no decent alternatives nearby.

Roof in leaking all over, speaker system doesn't work properly so the music hurts your ears at high base. It creates a new class of budget gyms.

Really run down. Damp, mould and crumbling walls. Lots of broken equipment. Not worth the cost anymore. Used to be good but management don't seem to care and are sharp and offish when asked questions. Won't be renewing my membership. Shame, as it had potential.

Good facilities in a run down building - management clearly doing the best they can to renovate while keeping things going. A few out of order/dodgy machines but overall fine value for money.

Decoration at this establishment is very dated signs of damp on the walls of the men's changing room and there is also no parking provision on the premises. However there is a lot of gym equipments the staff are very helpful.
