The personal environment for training at Performance 18 is fantastic. After moving from an open gym the ability to train in a 1-2-1 environment is great. No waiting for equipment or variation to the training plan. Put simply it's safe and focussed training. In addition Matt's knowledge and experience allows him to tailor the perfect training plan to achieve your goals. VIP training at its best!

A great gym with a wide range of high quality equipment.

Matty has helped me increase my fitness as well as giving me the confidence to comfortably do exercises and lifts on my own.

Would highly recommend for people of all ages and ability!

Great setup with high quality equipment for all your training needs. Matty is very welcoming and genuinely cares for his clients. His knowledge is extensive and he works to create plans that are individualised to help you achieve your goals be it perfomance-based or general fitness.

Highly recommend PRFM18! Great facilities, equipment and a very friendly atmosphere. Matty certainly knows his stuff. From somebody who paid a membership at a big brand gym and visited maybe twice a month, I now visit PRFM18 twice a week for one on one sessions. Matty has given me the confidence and drive to improve myself. Can’t wait to get going again soon 💪

After trying most 'commercial' gyms in Preston, and being unhappy with the business during peak times, PRFM18 is a great, quiet environment to train in even at the typically busiest of times. Matty is always open to helping members at the gym & cannot fault his knowledge and professional service. Highly recommend to anyone tired of overcrowded commercial gyms!!

I’ve been training regularly with Matthew for over 18 months now. I’d been to group PT, and 1-2-1 PT sessions elsewhere but find that Matthew really tailors each session to my needs and abilities. He knows how to motivate me to keep me going, and knows exactly how far to push me so that I improve but don’t get put off.

Due to lower back issues, I was looking to improve my core strength. Matty listened to me and learnt quickly what I needed. He tailors every session to my body, whilst always being mindful of my back. The fact he’s a decent fella helps aswell !

PT sessions always planned specifically to my needs and altered week on week to see improvement, doesn’t become boring as different exercises are involved
