I bought a used car from Sturgess Abarth and the level of service and attentiveness was great - at the start. Unfortunately as soon as I drove off the forecourt it all went south.
First of all the garage forgot to send off for my new logbook. Which was only discovered as I was chasing DVLA who said they hadn't had an application for a logbook in my name. Upon speaking Sturgess it came to light that they had forgotten to send it. A simple admin error, maybe. But frustrating that I had to be the one to sort it.
There was also one very minor issue with the car that only came to light once I had gotten it home (I am not local to Leicester). The staff were extremely apologetic and promised they would resolve the issue straight away. Unfortunately it took weeks and weeks of me chasing, sending emails and making calls, until the issue finally got resolved - but it took over a month.
All the staff I had dealings with, both in person and over the phone, were extremely courteous and polite - I cannot fault them for that at all. However I do feel that they need to work on their aftercare, as it felt like I no longer mattered once they had taken my money.
The car had been cleaned and inspected and the service on the day I purchased the car was efficient and informative.
I would certainly buy from Sturgess again.

I am disappointed to give a 3 star review as the level of service at the start was 5 stars. After delivery of the vehicle a shake/vibration appeared when driving on the motorway for the first time. Upon report to Sturgess abarth they said that the vehicle should be fine because they had done 100 point check/inspection beforehand. (Ignoring my concern). The car was found to have all wheels out of balance and 1 wheel with a minor buckle when inspected by a local wheel shop.
Also another minor issue upon delivery, I noticed a missing badge on the rear of the vehicle. Sturgess abarth said they would "sort this out". After 2 months chasing emails for a badge, a cost was given to me to buy the badge. Probably some misunderstanding here.
Like a previous review left 2 years ago by another customer, I can't also help but feel like i didn't matter once they had taken my money. Aftercare needs some work, otherwise it would have been 5 stars.
