Culverden Vets

We have a very poorly German shepherd, after a three night stay at the Tunbridge well branch with many blood test scans etc etc they have found out she has stage Four kidney disease, we don’t know how long we have left with her but culverden have giving her the best chance, I would just like to thank the team at Tunbridge wells and crowborough you have been amazing.

A beautiful place. Our Dog was very poorly. He was sent here by our vet. The two ladies that looked after him were amazing. The next day, Arthur was taken to have surgery at another vet who he knew when is was still very young. Sadly during the surgery he did not wake up. He was only 10 months old. We were told he only had a 30% chance of living. We took the decision to try and give him hope. This place was amazing as well. Do sad..

We have been with this practice for our dogs and cats since the 1980's and have always received the best of kindness and highly skilled care.

The practice is a partnership owned by the vets who work in it rather than being part of a faceless multinational company as is the case with some of the local vets.

Culverden vets are THE best, I can whole heartedly say this. They are a fantastic team made up of many compassionate, competent and extremely empathetic, caring Veterinary staff.

When I've had to bring my beloved animals here I've been seen promptly, and always greeted with a friendly face.

I have never felt forced into making a decision, every treatment and outcome has always been thoroughly discussed with me at the time of appointment or even over the phone!

I cannot thank them enough for their help, and thoroughly trusted advice over many years of being a registered client with this practice.

Absolutely awful vets. No compassion or empathy, constantly asking for money even when they had petplan insurance details to claim direct. Was pushed to put my dog to sleep, even though I saw some improvement and the blood tests showed improvement, the day put to sleep I had literally just sat down in waiting room and had a card machine put in my face to make a payment for a large sum, Despite already speaking to two people that they had my insurance details. Didn’t feel any warmth or care for anything but money, had dog put to sleep and still felt no true warmth. Taken away less than a minute after dog put to sleep to a card machine to pay a claim fee and cremation. I was in a state. Avoid this vets

Very unempathetic just kept asking for money even though had pet insurance. Day puppy put to sleep which they pushed for despite improvement, they shoved a card machine in my face when I arrived despite sorting insurance. No warmth. Puppy put to sleep and was within seconds moved to a card machine to pay a claim fee and cremation. Avoid.

If you have a dog that you care about DO NOT BRING IT to this veterinary clinic. The particular vet there that I dealt with was highly incompetent regarding dog diagnosis yet insisted he handle the case when he was most likely better suited to farm animals This ultimately led to my dog being wrongly prescribed medication that ultimately led to the animal having to be put down. Response to CV's reply: No need to discuss with your group what happened ! as I had attained a second opinion from a highly qualified vet who verified that indeed the dogs condition was the result of gross negligence of the vet. If you love your pet go elsewhere, wouldn't want this to happen to anyone else.

Brillant and compassionate staff, knowledgeable vets. Always on hand for advice. If it weren't for the distance now from home, we wouldn't be leaving.
