During the very busy pre-Christmas period, they still managed the delivery and installation of new washing machine and removal and disposal of old washing machine. This despite bad weather and delays from earlier appointments that meant they were working well beyond their scheduled finish time for the day. And they maintained their patience and good humor. A nice benefit of buying local.

Excellent service from start to finish with this company when our washing machine broke they managed to source a new machine and come and replace our broken one with on a few days notice. Wonderful stress free service thank you will definitely use you again and recommend to others.

I called Chiltern Appliances today as my tumble dryer stopped working yesterday. I explained to them that I need a Bosch TD with a 8kg capacity and it needed to be available to pick up today. The lady I spoke to went through the models and I decided on the only 8kg Bosch they had in stock. They said as I was collecting it they would discount it by £30 which sounded fine to me. I double checked that it was a new one and not shop floor and the lady said it was. I made my way down there which was a 20 min drive only to find when I got there that they were giving me their shop floor model so as you can imagine I wasn’t happy and to top it off there was a Shark Vacuum Cleaner resting on it. I moved the vacuum cleaner to check for damage and other than a few marks it was fine but then I saw a scratch so I told the lady who because quite rude and said we are giving you £30 off and we won’t do anymore and if you want a new one we can get one in for Tuesday. It wasn’t about the discount but the fact that I had driven all that way and they didn’t tell me what I was getting until I got there. If they had told me first I could have made an informed decision. Anyway because of the way she spoke to me I decided against buying one from then and came home and ordered one from ao.com who will be delivering a brand new one tomorrow!

Just purchased a Hotpoint condenser tumble dryer from yourselves, I am so impressed with the service I received, next day delivery too, with brilliant customer service. The two guys that came to remove and install were so polite and professional, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you thanks.

Walked in to collect something i had ordered was told to wear a mask while her colleague was talking to another customer who had both lowered there mask so they can talk to each other. When i refused the customer got involved telling me i should wear it why cant people mind there OWN business the younger female working in there has no customer service skills no smile no manners and gives off a cold vibe so you immediately feel uncomfortable and not welcome but shop is great can almost get anything, good for small town like chesham shame that there staff let them down as i would avoid using them again as i probably have to deal with the not so friendly staff.

Leah was very helpful in providing me with realistic options for a washing machine and tumble dryer, based on my requirements. By also measuring the dimensions (which very slightly differed from the advertised product spec), enabled me to make the best decision. CDA also arranged for next day delivery and took away the old appliances and threw in the installation for free. This is the second time I have used CDA and am very happy with their service. I am always keen to support local businesses that support their local community.

Walked in and was immediately rudely barked at by the young lady behind the counter for not wearing a mask (mask wearing is now optional and has been for some time). Needless to say, I left the store and won't be returning. I will be buying the item I wanted from AO where it was much cheaper!
