I ordered a Bosch Washing machine via Gilman's Gloucester for a Saturday AM 13/08/22 delivery.
I chose them as being a local company. The ordering process was easy and efficient.
On Saturday at 8am there was a text to say that my order was out for delivery with a tracking list so I could arrange my day around the delivery slot. Also backed up by a phone call from the delivery driver to give me an hours notice of projected delivery time. Communication from Gillman's was really good.
The two guys who delivered the new machine were great, they located the new machine that made it real easy for me to install it, very helpful and also took away my old faulty machine for recycling.
The machine itself was superb, I had it up an running within an hour after delivery, it is really quiet and easy to use.
Very pleased with Gillman's.
Thank you to the two Saturday delivery team, top notch, recommended.

We bought an AEG double oven on 12th Nov and had it delivered and installed the following Tuesday. It is just one of a number of purchases we have made from Gillmans.
The member of staff on the Saturday was very helpful and knowledgeable, checking their stock and delivery times. The delivery and installation was straightforward and the old cooker was removed seamlessly.
We are delighted with the cooker and highly recommend Gillmans.

Delivery driver very rude and aggressive, judgemental and not aware of his attitude.
The other smoking on my property, both wearing different clothes with no landyards or work uniform or papers to show who they were.
Problem wasn't resolved, called to speak to someone about it and not taken seriously.
I was left really shaken up with anxiety after that experience with the 2 Delivery men.

Quick response to repair. Administration not good for me as a Landlord. All communication was via telephone and all documentation/invoice was left with the tenant, which does not help me in the slightest and as the payer of the call out and repair bill, I found that to be rather irritating.

I don't feel great leaving only 2 stars as we have purchased all our appliances from them in the past and had a mostly positive experience. Was told today they no longer accept cash, even for small low value purchases. More worrying, they push harder than ever to harvest all your personal information at the point of sale and actually told me it was a violation of GDPR not to provide it.
