My dad was a resident in this home from December last year for 6 month's, 1 star is far to high but have to leave a star to leave review. To start with the manageress is not friendly at all and basically ha no people skills I tried to speak to her one day and she was very rude to me! The home was in the telegraph as they must of had a visit to review the place, it basically got very bad reviews saying it needed refurbishing nd they wasnt giving the residents the tablets at the correct times! My dad got very bad sores on his back and bottom and they blamed the ambulance who took him to hospital one day while he was in the home! Personally I dont think he was being turned over to relieve pressure from his bottom and back as they are pressure sores so theres no way he caught pressure sores from the ambulance! A few of the staff were lovely ther but not all...especially the manager, the home doesnt have a garden , during covid they wheeled my dad out to the front of the home which is only a small carpark next to the road which is also next to the bins!! If u are thinking of putting your parent's here seriously go and check it out before u put your loved ones in here .
