DO NOT USE: I submitted my late Fathers extensive money to W&W for a valuation. The Collection consisted of over 500 coins, with a face value of >$10,000 CAD. All coins are uncirculated, proof and specimens, brand new in boxes with price tags. Out of the 500 plus coins 78 of these coins are 999.0 fine silver (combined weight of 2142.5g). I also provided a stamp collection and an extensive collection of notes from around the world. The written offer I had from W&W was £180. I called them to get a better understanding and breakdown of how they had reached that valuation, I was then told the notes were valued at £200 and the coins £40. I then proceeded to explain that I was sat at my desk and had a quote for 2142.5g of scrap 999.0 silver from Hatton Garden Metals £898.35 (22nd June 2022). Out of interest I revalued this morning at £833 5th July 2022. Regardless, the gentleman on the phone said if you think you can get that then we can arrange return of the coins and place notes in auction. I don't think, it's fact. Naturally, I politely declined this offer. Due to the huge discrepancy in value and high volume of coins I submitted that were apparently valued at 0.1p each (£40/400 = 0.1) I would prefer to collect in person and cross reference with the photo’s I took prior to collection and cross reference with the log I created for Customs when I brought them across from Canada 5 years ago, then valued at over $15,000 (admittedly this included a handful of gold coins which thankfully I didn’t include). AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I wish I had read the reviews prior to using W&W, because of my negligence I now have a 4 hour round trip to collect. Gutted to say the least, but as the saying goes ‘you live, and you learn’!!

Sent a large box of stamps, cards, first day covers ,some signed , etc have been quoted £12 from Warwick and Warwick for the whole contents decided to get the box back as we were disappointed with the valuation. I paid £18 for the return just received the box and it hadn’t been touched it was packed exactly as we sent it we had various markers in the box and they hadn’t been moved very disappointed with this company I thought they could be trusted obviously not. If anyone from the company reads this I would like a refund on my postage.

Having taken on responsibility for getting my father in law's treasured stamp collection valued with a view to selling, I first investigated three well known auction houses inc. Stanley Gibbons.
Warwick and Warwick were from the start professional, friendly and efficient, making sure that expectations were tempered by explaining that the collectors valuation based on "catalogue" values, is invariably far higher than the true market value which would only be realised at auction. They were helpful and made themselves available to explain directly to my wife's disgruntled siblings who were expecting "hundreds of thousands", why there was such a discrepancy between catalogue value and market value.
The collection was subsequently valued at around £24K with one specific album making up £20K of that total. The collection was vociferously marketed, with presentation in their sale catalogue and W&W contacting their extensive worldwide network of buyers . Note that as they are on a competitive commission rate, it is completely in their interest to maximise the sale price achieved, which then reveals the true value of the collection.
My wife and I logged into the online auction relayed from the auction rooms, and were thrilled along with the W&W staff to witness the reserve price exceeded by over 60% at £38K, with the main album making £13K over the reserve of £20K.
Warwick and Warwick have a reassuring mix of vast knowledge and contacts in what is in essence and "old world" environment, along with up to date marketing/online auction facilities to get in front of as many potential buyers as possible.
I therefore have no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending them for the valuation and sale of stamps.

Unfortunately we can’t give less than 1 star.
We left a substantial collection of model railway items: several locomotives, a lot of rolling stock, track, signals, controller, unassembled buildings etc. from East Germany (Piko DDR) prior to the wall coming down.
They were all unused and in pristine condition although some of the boxes were damaged.
As we were unhappy with the ‘buy’ offer and the auction estimate we decided to collect.
When they were brought to us it was quite obvious that they had been treated with scant regard. Boxes were further damaged and it would appear that they had been dropped. Quite a number of the higher value items were badly damaged and some had pieces missing rendering them unsaleable.
Our mistake was not to have photographed everything before we took them. When we explained that some items were missing they actually found another box. Unfortunately we still feel that a couple of items are missing.
They did admit their liability, offered an apology and some compensation but this experience has caused some distress and upset as the items had been carefully stored for over 40 years.
We left our items in good faith with complete trust that they would be well cared for. It’s hard to believe what has happened. Under no circumstances could we recommend this auction house.

Warwick and Warwick provided a probate service for me. Although I was a little wary as I had not had to do anything like this before, they could not have been more helpful, they even collected the collection for me. Being outside the UK this made life so much easier for me. Nothing was too much trouble and I would recommend them to anyone who has probate or even just valuation needs. They made an excellent offer for the collection ensuring that I could settle the matter quickly and with minimal fuss. Excellent service!

I contacted Warwick and Warwick regarding a small coin collection and large stamp collection, they were extremely professional throughout and the final result from both sales was beyond my expectations. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and will use them again.

Highly reputable and professional auctioneers. A good collection of lots every month for both separate auctions for stamps and collectables. The staff are excellent in all departments. I highly recommend

SELLER BEWARE - DO NOT USE - I recently sent my grandads bank note collection of over 150 notes from across the world. After looking online I knew the collection was worth a good amount of money and wanted a professional opinion. W&W valued the collection at £50 when several of these notes were selling for more than that individually. I took this collection to a different company and they valued the collection at £750. Also the package which W&W sent back didn't look opened as it still had the original bubble wrap and tape I sent it in on the package. Either they couldn't be bothered or they were trying to rip someone off which they thought didn't know much about the collection. Very poor experience and I would avoid at all costs in the future.
