Grandson's bicycle needed attention, chain off the cogs, distorted, and irretrievably wedged next to the spokes, derailleur system bent inwards. I booked it in online for 3pm on a Sunday afternoon. The helpful engineer diagnosed all the faults, sourced the parts there and then and fitted them. Some 30-40 minutes expert attention restored the bike to full working order . Excellent service and I thoroughly recommend Halfords.

Tried to buy lots of items 1 checkout operator dealing with a difficult customer for 15 mins. Lots of staff wandering about not really interested in hrlping out with 10 in the queue waiting. Gave up threw stuff on counter and went to a local car parts shop much better service and cheaper !!.

Done wheel alignment at Halfords (Blackfriars rd) got only picks of my car. Nothing with what has been done. So they done nothing just took money. And tyres keep getting damaged on the sides.
Went to Halfords at Hardwick to refill my AC unfortunately person who worked there couldn’t find pipes where to refill my AC, asked me to go to Volvos dealer to advise. Ridiculous!

Didn’t seem a happy place. I bought some car cleaning products. Very well laid out and very full. All staff were busy but didnt look happy. A couple spoke to me and were very polite and courteous though.

I went in with a video showing that my bike's rear brake wasn't working, which has been seen by cycling instructors & other cyclists. Halfords constantly said that the brake making alot of noise & not stopping me was normal & there was no problem with the bike. Another bike shop has confirmed the problem & fixed it.

Absolutely amazed at the perseverance of one of the fitters this evening, he was challenged with my unruly car to change a number plate bulb which was alot harder than anticipated, he didn't give up or get frustrated. Super service thanks!

I needed new wiper blades for my car- visited this store, a little bemused to find a digital screen which needed me to put my car reg in to find the right ones... the screen said “loading “ but was like me on a Sunday morning-taking its time.

A voice said “can I help?” Yes please! Kyle to the rescue 😃 . He found prices for 1 or 2 blades and different manufacturers, I made my choice and he found them on the shelf.

Great service - friendly and helpful. A nicely set out store and covid set up was good.

Only one person serving at the till, who was dealing with a problem, so had to wait 15 minutes before being served, leading to a long queue. But once served, excellent, I needed a headlight bulb changed, good price and job promptly completed.
