I ordered a UK stickered number plate for travel to Europe but the plates were delivered with GB stickers. Staff were unable to rectify this issue on their system. Please note that GB stickers on number plates are not acceptable in Europe since Brexit. Halfords should not be selling them. Wake up and get a grip on European law

Easy to order online, but no information on appointment time to fit battery, so had to wait 20 mins before fit. Quality of the work was fine.

I'd give 5 stars but a store as big as halfords should stock everything for parts for everything they sell, service was good and friendly and they apologised for my wait which I appreciated, no other issues.

My car warning indicator stated that the battery was charging correctly. I reviewed the details online and suspected it may be time to replace it.
Went to Halfords to get it tested and the technician carried out a thorough check, but also stated I could go for a long drive to regenerate the charge. (No hard sell)
The price was higher than expected but weighed up my options and decided to get it changed.
The technician Kieran was meticulous, quick and polite; despite being told there was a delay due to a queue my car was sorted and I was on my way.
The branch in Ocean Retail Park has always been helpful and today was no different.

Battery replacement fitted.
My battery needed replacement I opted for a fitted service, my battery connections had mild corrosion on. The store manager refused to allow his operative to clean the terminals with some wire wool, emery cloth or wet and dry! I had to purchase this separately and clean the terminals myself. Surly best practice is to present clean metal surface for a good connection.
Manager was not customer focused at all.

Originally went to waterlooville which customer service was poor ! So attended burfields branch ! Wanted a daytime light changed on my Audi a1 the young lad who had only been there two weeks couldn’t carry out the work to begin with so after about 35 minutes of him attempting too , he suggested I go to Audi ? Then a hero arrived in the shape of a young man called Ryan who carried out the job successfully he also had to replace the bulb I had already purchased due to the previous worker losing it and a bolt that had been removed so I’m also a bolt down ? But Ryan insisted it’s not going to cause a problem in future and head light is secure ! Many thanks to this young lad a credit to Halfords my score would of been 1 star without his professionalism and great customer service skills !

They haven’t informed me even though they have received the product I ordered. I had to go in to get an update, when I came to know that the product was already delivered to the store few days back. I have got 2 separate deliveries on separate occasion, both time same thing happened. May be they dont bother to inform.

A pleasant experience, ordered online, item was in stock and available to collect soon afterwards. No queue at store so all good.
