Halfords

I gave them my bike for a service and repair on the 24th June and I've been given one update since and that's only because I called them. Each time I call them since the update, I get no where or cut off and have to start again at the main menu. It's absolutely ridiculous that they have had my bike for this length of time. They also raised the price for the repair from £95 to £129.95 without asking me if I was happy with the change. Once I get my bike back (if that ever happens) I will never use Halfords again and will be advising everyone I know who cycles to not use them. I've also raised a formal complaint which doesn't seem to be going anywhere. Just a useless company and I don't know how they are still about today.

Quite possibly the worst store I've ever been into. The most unhelpful staff making it so much harder than it has to be. Telling me I need to book in bike assessments rather than selling me a £10 part that was just behind the counter. Bike took a whole month longer than originally told and after agreeing a discount they then refused to honour it. DO NOT GO HERE!

My Fiesta had a 10 point check with Koral and I could not recommend him any higher! So knowledgeable, spent extra time explaining everything to me and making recommendations. He also fitted my front and rear camera and it works brilliantly. I will be back to see Koral!

Huge thanks to Mario in the bike department who sorted me out today. I'd picked a bike up from another shop and the handlebars collapsed after about a half-hour of use. Mario fixed this for me on the spot and was truly kind. Much appreciated.

Pre ordered my sons first bike. The young man behind the counter at the Old Kent Road store where I collected the bike had a horrible attitude. Scowling and grunting at me. Won’t be shopping here again and I’d advise others not to also. Halfords are obviously not doing enough to ensure that the staff they employ have even basic manners and that they are civil when interacting with their customers.

Terrible customer service.
I waited patiently to pay for my items while the person at the till looked at her friends holiday photos until it became obvious that she was fully intent on ignoring me.
I had to ask to be served. Then it felt like she was doing me a favour by taking my money.
Every time I go to Halfords I always say I'll never go back again but then I forget just how awful it is. This time was definitely my last.

Can't fault the service I recieved today. Popped in to collect an online order then decided to get some new wipers and have them fitted. Both members of staff I dealt with were helpful and efficient. Very good customer service.

It is strange visiting shops as they begin to open now in 2021. Halfords on old Kent road have done well. They have a strict policy of 9 people upstairs and 20 downstairs currently. A friendly man on the door is there to keep count and let people in as others leave, and ensure masks are worn. Hand wash is available as you enter, and when I visited the door man read cleaning the door handles continuously. Distancing lines at the till help as well.
