Booked bike in to be repaired. Was told 3-4 days.
8 days later I had returned to the shop as I hadn’t heard from Halfords. My bike had been repaired but nobody had thought to contact me to collect. Really poor service.
Josh, Adam , Boris & Samson - keep up the good attitude . It works and the customers (the genuine ones) will be happier.
They use a 3rd party for repairs so next time I'll try an independent place.
I also don't feel like the cycle team are very good with speaking to customers either. Very slow service in store. At least the bike is fixed now!
Unfortunately the wallet stopped working and the signal was escaping. I took the wallet back demonstrated the fault to a store colleague. The store colleague said it should be fine and told the manager “Damon” (white british male).
Damon was very reluctant to offer an exchange and also quiet clearly had no idea what he was talking about as he was trying to prove the point of that the wallet is not designed to stop the key from working but its designed to stop theft. ((( its the same thing as it stops the signal ))) please educate your staff halfords.
Then he said that because it is not an electrical good that it is not covered over 28 days? When it clearly states on the box 2 years guarantee…. ??? Then when i pointed that out he still refused to do anything without a receipt telling me i should of had it emailed to me…. Well no one offered to email me the receipt. I did not even know you do that.
Cut a long story short i had to purchase another one in the store today for £5. Its not about the £5 its about the principle -_-
Until now i purchased all my products here including my baby seats and even an electric scooter at one point. …. Going forward this will change.
Very disappointed.
Staff in store have limited interest in helping, answering questions or even willing to care.
Avoid this location at all cost. Try local bike stores to avoid disappointment.
