They said they couldn't fit the dashcam I bought from Halfords site. When I wanted to return it, they said that they could not get a refund due to the problem in the system. I did not buy the dashcam from the main seller, I made a mistake by buying it from halfords.

My expectation was that they would establish the necessary communication with the halfords side and help me.

Lovely young man took time to come out and look at the scratches on my car then advised me how to find the correct colour match from Audi. Did not get his name but excellent service.

Just took a car lock back to Halfords West Wickham that my 86 year old mum brought, as it came without keys or instructions. The lovely lady at the till offered to replace it immediately and then was really helpful checking that my mum could use it due to the arthritis in her thumbs. My mum had been quite stressed about taking it back so the kind service was a great relief for her. Thank you!

Booked a bike valuation online at this store for 6pm. Sat in 30 minutes of traffic to be told, on arrival (@5:50pm) - and after waiting aimlessly for the sole member of staff in the entire store to talk to the manager (who was literally nowhere to be seen, was he even there?) - that the technician had gone home, clearly unable to honour a booking. Was then told I could take the bike away and try again tomorrow (?!), or leave the bike with them and the technician will call me between 8am and 2pm the next day. I had no intention of sitting in another 30 minutes of traffic. As I type this, post the phone ringing out for eternity as I lose the will to live trying to contact this store (does anyone actually work there? Is it run by bots?), still no call from the technician. I’m not holding my breath they will call tomorrow either. I might just rock up later instead, and take a new bike home for my child, given there is literally no one working in this store to stop anyone doing so…

Came to Wickham’s Halford to fix my son’s bike. It was easily fixed by a highly experienced employee named Daniel. Thank you so much Daniel for the help . Got the job done in less than 5 minutes 🙏 Highly appreciated. God Bless you always. 😃😃🙏🙏

Excellent service from Sammie at West Wickham branch of Halfords. She expertly fitted a new baby car seat, explained everything so well I didn't need to ask questions.
Excellent service from other staff too as I had a faulty baby seat and it was exchanged without any issues whatsoever. Thank you everyone!

I needed a new wiper blade and visited the store which is 5 minutes from home. After entering my car details on touchscreen by the shelf, it told me that they were out of stock at that store. So I went home and, entering the same details, ordered the part online for collection in an hour at the store where it was apparently out of stock 10 minutes earlier. At 6pm that day I went to collect and the store was completely bereft of staff with several customers wandering around searching for anyone who actually worked there. Eventually a grumpy guy appeared from a back room and reluctantly served me - didn't ask for any proof of purchase apart from my name and handed it over without a word - so much for customer service! Halfords isn't the store it used to be.

A very disappointing experience.
Bought a 2 tonne Low Professional Hydraulic Jack, this afternoon, 34kgs. of it.
Humped it home unpacked and assembled it, unassisted by the lamentable Instruction Manual, only to discover that the handle retaining stud was too short to secure the handle to the jack.
Returned to the store to see whether the short stud was a one-off. Unfortunately, not!
The entire stock of 2 and 3 tonne jacks were useless.
Still, on the bright side, the unsmiling manageress, charmlessly refunded the purchase price, "No hassle."
Well, that's if you don't count the time spent driving back and forth, and of assembling the useless thing.
I do hope Halfords test the suitability of their brake pads more effectively than they appear to test their "Professional" jacks.
