Halfords - Bromley

We went to Halfords Bromley to buy our 4 year old a new bike.

We were served by David at the bike section upstairs who was great and answered all our questions very well and helped us to place an order for the bike we wanted!

Good customer service and we will return!

I went there on Saturday to change my break lights and despite I had to wait 45min to be done (staff on break) it was OK. Staff were very friendly, approachable and helpful. Sam changed my lights very quick and effectively. Thank you very much for the service.

Just had my 10 point car check which was included in the Halfords Auto Trader membership sign up. Martin was really thoughtful and explained everything to me in layman's terms. Will definitely be returning back to Halfords for one of these in about a year. Would easily pay the £15 for it despite getting it for free.

Every time I go to this place, there is a queue. Customer service is slow. There is only ever one person serving, nobody else is ever about to help on the floor with queries. Very poor customer experience at this particular store. My advice is seek out an alternative store or better still an alternative retailer.

Needed new car battery. Website - load of rubbish, couldn't tell me which branches had the item (“in selected stores”) and I could order it and collect next week. In store - sweetness and light, nice people and battery was in stock.

Three wiper blades bought online for collection same day. No text received to notify that the order was ready for collection but.
The order was collected later same day but, when home, discovered that one wiper was completely incorrect (not what was ordered) and one of the other two did not have the necessary fittings.
3 stars because a refund was quickly processed.

The staff at Bromley cycle department are fantastic, helpful, attentive and knowledgeable. They got my existing bike back on form and I am also very pleased with my new bike. I make the trip up to the Bromley branch rather than my local branch because I know the service and welcome I get at that branch. Nothing is too much effort for them.

Collected 2 bikes this afternoon & before they were brought out I expressed my concern one may be too small ! The gentleman was very friendly and amazing can do attitude… explained sizing &’room to grow . Took down few options & guided through the process and I upgraded to what was better suited . Great customer service ! Thank you
