Went for dash cam fitting. All seemed good until I got home, opened the glovebox for my house key and felt some resistance then a snap - yep the dash cam wiring snapped as it seems some bright spark wired it through the glovebox hinge!!

1 star is already doing them mercy.
Ordered floor mats for my Ibiza, no stock at the moment so the staff said it will be stocked on the same week, and I will be informed via text or email. GOT NOTHING until probably 2 weeks later, I asked on live chat about the situation and i am promised to have a proper reply 24-48 hours something like this. NOTHING YET.
So I waited for another 1 week or 2, since Halfords just do their thing and not giving me any response like usual, I thought to myself why do i pay for such faulty service, so I sent them an email and asked for a full refund, forcing myself not to curse anyone, and after another 1 week or so, the closest response is that they have REQUESTED the shop to refund to me.
As of today, 27/9, Halfords still unable to refund that 35 quid to my account, and it's almost 2 months.

Hell of a service.

Ordered a battery for my vehicle online and was meant to collect but it's been closed the past few days even though Google and the halfords website says it open. So what on earth am I supposed to do?

I ordered a car battery at16.17 Halfords quote collect within the hour check my order saying collect FROM 17.17, it’s now 19.05 and still no update I’ve constantly checked the tracking page and it has not moved. Conveniently there is no phone number to contact Halfords other than their virtual page which is useless things are looking good with this technology very very poor customer service experience. After waiting until Saturday the next day from the original order I cancelled this battery as it was WAY to slow for a one hour collection, pathetic service from Halfords and a loss at a time companies can’t afford to loose customers

I was amazed at how helpful they were. Wish I knew the name of the man who replaced my headlight as I was so impressed with both the service and the attitude. It's a long time since I was treated so well by any service provider.

Visited Halfords Aintree bike department on Monday 31st October. I was served by Mark who couldn't have been more helpful in fixing my sons bike chain and raising the handle bars. Nothing was too much trouble, and he also advised on the best tools to use to maintain the bike.

Orderd a bike then 2 days later it said cancelled? Rang up got to the bottom of it and everything was fine, they never had it so had to cancel and re order.
Otherwise would of been 5 stars

Halfords at Aintree and Maria are the two things we girls most need (also all those of a nervous disposition). I went today to buy a bicycle. I haven't had one since I was 17 and I'm now 64. Always slightly wary of going into somewhere I see as a blokes shop, I thought I would just look and see who approached me. I wasn't even going to buy today, and quite honestly probably not from Halfords.( I love Halfords and have bought loads of stuff for my car over the years, but a bike? I didn't think I would find anyone who wanted to help here.) Maria was on the desk and wandered over, and before I knew it we were trying out the bikes and chatting about what I was looking for. She really knows her stuff, and didn't try any of the usual tricks of upselling. We looked at prices of bikes and all the bits that you need to go with that. She was able to tell me what the difference in prices meant for items such as the helmet or the locks etc. I have bought my bike, which I love, and all the important bits. I'm picking it up in a few days when Maria will have made sure everything has been put on the bike and it's ready to ride home ( that will be a new adventure!!). Thank you Maria for being there. This was so painless it was actually a fun buy.

Today I went to pick my bike up. Not only was Maria there to help me make sure everything was ok, but also lovely Ehbaad (cool name!) who knew loads about bikes, you know, gear changes best way to ride etc. He really helped me get used to the bike, I was able to practice in the shop, and especially the gears as I was quite nervous about the fact there was two lots of gears. But he showed me the best way to start, and I got home on his recommendations really easily. I also met Ciaron who built my bike, and had done a brilliant job. It fitted me well, everything was on the bike I asked for. They really looked after me, a wonderful set of people. I was so excited when I got home, I love the bike so much, I went out for a ride in the afternoon, even though I was starting to ache a bit!!. Thank you guys for everything. See you Feb for a bike service.
