I popped to the Bury St Edmunds store, Fabio was absolutely brilliant, he was so approachable, interested in what i was saying (some show no interest in what you are after), so helpful with advising me on a couple of bits i needed to buy even down to the best upholstery cleaner, i work in retail, ive been customer service manager for many years and this was the best ive ever recieced, well done Fabio and well done halfords.

Great service free check up on my bike and they sorted put my tyre issue at a very reasonable price. Will use again.

Very usefull range of car accessories with helpful staff to guide you should you need it.
Likewise with the bike section which has a usefull range of bikes, accessories and a repair shop.

Dreadful experience.
Web site would not let me make a purchase without my car details. Item I wanted was not car related at all. Don't they also sell bicycles?
Item "in stock locally" though a visit to the shop denied this before I ordered on line (which I why I went on line).
Then next day had in quick sucession an email.saying item ready to pick up and 5 mins later one saying order cancelled. No explanation no apology.
I was under the perhaps mistaken idea that if an item was not in stock locally it could be sent there for pick up. I would not have minded waiting a few days.
Oh well ebay it is then.
