Metropolitan Police Perivale Car Pound

Really happy with Metropolitan police for finding my stolen van .... even if it was 2 years later. The staff were friendly and helpful . There was a wait of about 20 min but its due to COVID. Be careful of all the dodgy characters outside of the pound offering you insurance ! ITS A SCAM!. Also there were people offering car recovery services . It could be very helpful for someone. When I got the van it had a puncture and other problem but there were a lot of mechanics really close by. I fixed everything the same day and manage to drive it home.

Rude staff. No parking. Everything filthy. Miles from anywhere. Waiting+++ while single person behind screen slowly processes queue.
Terrible communication esp as I am bit deaf. Clearly no training for disabled

They type info into system then fill in forms by hand
Then you wait hours. No concept we are actually customers whether as me to collect stuff after robbery or after a car impounded. We should all be treated properly.
Met police should be ashamed. Even returning stuff was hands free through locked gates.

Absolutely dreadfull. Not fit for purpose. 4 people in the que arrived 11.30 when they opened . Left to bake outside for over 2 hours. Then had to pay £230 to get my stolen car back. Absolute disgrace no wonder the metropolitan police have such an awful reputation

Had my car stolen then had to pay £150 to get it back, broken windows no stereo. Waited hours. Justice system is flawed. Have your property stolen and pay to get it back. And the criminals known as gentlemen go off to steal another car and break into more houses. London is amazing.

Received a letter telling me that a vehicle registered in ny name had been seized for no insurance.
Problem 1, not my vehicle
Problem 2, slow to receive the letter, so giving me less than 72bhours to contact the pound. No point ringing them after their 1130 am opening time, can only get a recorded information message, no human interaction whatsoever. My only reason to ring them is to try and avoid paying storage and disposal fees for a car which isn't mine.

Can't understand all the bad reviews! Went on a Sunday to get possessions back before my car was scrapped. The team couldn't have been more helpful, even going back to the car to retrieve paperwork.

I don't recommend to no one to go there but if you ask like place is very good every single person knows his own job, so if you go to pick-up your sized car or your stolen car they are very friendly explain every single thing, what you gone need from documents how you need to send and all that kind of stuff.

Very slow. That's why people who work here are lazy and have no respect for someone time.
Car pounded is one thing, but to get that car back is just a nightmare. That's guys should be sent to finish time management courses.
Normally-1 star. But is no possible.
