The Village Bakery

This is a great local bakery with very reasonably priced bread. The jam doughnuts are delicious and always popular at work. They also sell filled sandwiches and decent coffee.

What a great bakery! Cinnamon and cherry buns taste amazing! Trip from Andover was 100% worth it! We will definitely be back again!

Once a year my wife and I housesit for her aunt and uncle.

It's the highlight of my year. The house is great. The location is great. It's wonderful... But all else is nothing in comparison to how I feel about their local bakery.

We live up in Manchester. I literally take a holiday so I can visit this bakery for 6 days straight to sample their baked goods.

Their Bath Buns have been hand crafted by gods turned slaves in the back I can only assume.

I would say the primary issue I go on living is knowing that at some point in the future I will get to eat something made in this bakery.

One time my wife spent about 30mins talking me out of making a 1.5hr detour on a family trip to go here... It's literally that good!

If I lived in this town I would die, young, fat and happy.

Friendly helpful staff and lovely looking products. The bacon baguettes went down a treat. Only thing was we normally prefer the bacon cooked a bit more but tasty and now in trouble because I didn’t save any or our 2 Labradors. Note to self, get extra sausage tomorrow.
Stocked up on cakes for a picnic today while going off climbing trees, as you do.

Lovely bakery.We bought delicious granary rolls,shortbread,donuts and a Chelsea bun.Reasonably priced too.

I was passing and came in for a bacon and sausage sandwich, probably the most disgusting sandwich I've had. The bacon was like packet ham from a supermarket and the sausage was cheap and nasty. AVOID

Lovely little bakery and friendly staff. Katie was amazing on my last visit, I will be back and recommend to everyone.
