Wenzel's the Bakers

I got myself a latté and a Belgian bun, coffee was a hit and miss but I finished it, the bun wasn't bad but wasn't great either. 3 buns out of 5

I ordered 4 sandwich deals and when I got back to the office they'd forgotten to put one of the sandwiches in, I called and spoke to the manager who apologised and gave her name to mention for next time. Two weeks later I went and told them what happened and mentioned her name and they said they couldn't help because she wasn't in!!! It took a long argument to convince them that I was right, and get the sandwich that I'd paid for!!

I found an injured baby bird next to Wenzels, Harrow Road. I asked Wenzels this morning for a small paperbag to put bird in, their English was very basic and just about understood me and said they don't give bags out. Even though they eventually understood it was to help an injured bird. Both ladies on duty today were very hesitant to give me a bag, even local the shops who are not branded are more then happy in the past to give me bag or box. No compassion at all, disgusting attitude.

Had an order cancelled on uber eats. No communication. Called the store. Person on the phone was putting on a weird voice. Unprofessional service. Not the first problem I had with this wenzels store.

My favourite bakers. I've shopped in many a Wenzels but this is the only branch where the assistant 'forgot' to put the sausage in the roll last week. Got to work and took out my meal deal for later, eagerly wanting to take a bite of my sausage in a roll. Almost thought I'd been charged and it forgotten and there was the lonely sausage all by itself in a heat proof bag. Not the same.

First time and i will never be back, stuff no friendly , very rude, they deserve 0 star but is an option to give 0 . I order a plain croissant but I didn’t know its also pane de chocolate croissants, i ask if she can make the chocolate one and she was so rude .

Last time I came they didn’t open on time and half an hour later. I’ve not seen a Wenzels do that before until now.

Aside from that it does offer the usual good stuff.

Management needs to rework the things here.

Very hit or miss :/ tried to return something that was hard and stale but was told they were baked that day, I’ve had stuff from the bakery section plenty times before and I’m certain it wasn’t fresh or perhaps just badly made
