The customer service at this London Street branch is outstanding. I have banked here for several years, after being a long term customer of another big bank, and it was a great decision to move to the Co-op. Staff are always friendly and take the time to see to your needs and wish you a pleasant day. Previously I had several meetings with an excellent financial consultant at the branch who helped me with managing my money & getting control of debt payments. The manager at this branch also agreed to waive some overdraft fees on my account at a time I was financially struggling. I cannot praise this branch enough! I would recommend the 'Everyday Extra' account - I claimed on this when my phone got smashed & was very happy with the insurance service & replacement mobile phone I received. Excellent !

Have had to contact the ombudsman over the dire service I have suffered over the years.Over £40000 taken from my bank account fraudulently over 3 months due in part to the banks negligence. £600 in my ex wifes account frozen for nearly 10 months with the reason given that she DARED to complain after the bank send her debit card and pin number to the wrong address. Your monies safer under your mattress or in a piggy bank than with this bunch of clowns

I travelled from Cromer to Norwich to use this bank but found it closed due to recent changes in opening hours although this has now been corrected on their website I still had to inform and update this information on Google !!! one of the largest search engines on the web.

I’ve been with the co op bank for over 15 years and their customer service has got worse year on year. They blocked an online transaction twice so I phoned. It took over an hour to speak to someone, the agent said she could put is a new password for me so I can try to make the transaction again but she could not make the payment for me. And I waited an hour for that, not good enough

And the headache continues. Switch has been reset because of co-ops fault, support useless on Facebook, phone and through online banking. Wont get things resolved now because of new year no doubt, and switch will take yet another fortnight I suppose. The organisation, communication and support is a joke, quite frankly. I would try and get in to a branch but would no doubt be a wasted trip.

I applied to open a business account under the government banking switching scheme i had no idea a bank could be so incompetent
An application that is dealt with by text message ! No one ever answers the phone, A new account application that supposedly takes more than 12 weeks to open, I am told my application is declined because i have no photo i.d. driving license or a current uk passport
There is no legislation that states i have to hold either

Response from Co-op Bank further proof of staff that are prepared to pass comments before gaining the full facts !

Always really great service that go above and beyond to help with any problems or questions with a personal and human touch, which is very different from other banks in the city, Never ever had a problem with them at all.

Terrible been with this bank for years, all my accounts blocked over and hour to speak to anyone. Norwich nearest bank. Stayed because they were ethical but now I can't buy food .
