NatWest

I have had a current account with NatWest for over 60 years, it has moved with me for numerous addresses, UK and International.

Recently I lost my cheque book and requested a new one in a letter mailed around 14Dec2015, it has not arrived at my USA address yet, AND no communication from Bank with any queries.

Also I want to close my account at Lincoln since it will no longer be used as a cash source for when I am in UK. For some reason the staff have not contacted me when arrangements were made to call within a 2 hour period on a given day. The bank seems to be absolutely non-co-operative, no call received with less than 10 minutes left.

SERVICE IS TERRIBLE!!

Arrived at 4:55pm to find the doors locked and the lights off. They supposedly shut at 5pm, this is clearly not true. With Natwest closing smaller branches I think it's completely unacceptable that they are now reducing normal hours at the only bank for 20miles.
A 2 hour round trip wasted.

Hugely disappointed. Opened a joint Rewards application and we came into this branch to submit our IDs/signed letter etc. Was told everything would be fine. Guess what....... 3 weeks......... later no comms nothing.............the branch messed up! nothing received by applications team. Wasted our time. We pray our photo documents are not still sitting on someone's desk or the coffee room!

Hideous customer service! Never been questioned before over insignificant matters. I work in the industry so knew the process, however the women capable of making me feel this had the audacity to question my position. Ignorant!

No longer do counter service on a Saturday so couldn't withdraw the car to buy a second hand car. Slightly frustrating. All gearing up for the closing down of banks. Would have thought the staff who worked there would be more concerned at their jobs being on the line.

My husband and I have been customers with NatWest for over 9 years and have always have a brilliant experience with the bank. We recently went into the NatWest bank on the High Street in Lincoln and had a consultation with Ryan Lowbridge. He was absolutely fantastic, and helped us to set up life insurance, a new business account for my husband, change our address and advise us on setting up accounts for our children all in the same appointment. He was extremely helpful, patient and friendly and we were really happy with the service. We hadn't made an appointment previously but got seen straight away and all of the staff were really helpful. We have since been sent a lovely gift from Ryan and the team at NatWest which was so kind and thoughtful! Thank you for such a brilliant experience with your bank, we will be lifelong customers.

Interior is nic, plenty of terminals for quick cash deposits and staff are friendly and attentive.
