We are very happy with the level of service from Redwood. From account opening, and answering initial queries I had, to account maintenance and your communication. In line with the BOE base rate our account rate has been reduced, but this was communicated in advance and made very clear as to why and what the changes would be. Clear, concise communication. Would highly recommend.

Beyond hopeless systems and communication. As a previous business customer twice tried to set up a fixed term deposit account. Weeks elapsed, emails sent and zero response.

Online security is worrying - they don't support special characters in passwords. The system doesn't tell you this, so it allows you to create a password containing special characters, but when you then try to login your account gets locked. Called customer services and was told it is a limitation that they are aware of! Pretty worrying for a bank to have such lax password security - and no 2-factor auth. Decided not to fund the account as a result. The two stars are for the person I spoke to on the phone who answered quickly and was polite and helpful.

An absolutely shocking service. After months of 'back & forth' discussions, the banks solicitors failed to complete on my transaction despite repeatedly providing information to the bank to enable them to do so. All I have been left with are legal fees and brokers costs - with no apology or compensation offered. Avoid at all costs
