Barclays Bank

Not recommended. Takes days for a call back from business banking. Have to hold for 2 hours to get through to customer services. I'm changing banks to Starling, who had the account set up in minutes (whilst I was holdng for Barclays "customer services", and received bank cards the following working day.

The single till opens at 10am but it takes 35 minutes for them to log on so actually 10:35. Self service is hopeless with staff having to help most people anyway.

Check their reviews.... What happens to this branch?

I'm so surprised they still have customers.

I get messages every other day like.... "Oh sorry we had to close today".

I have accounts with Santander, Metro and Lloyds. None of them do this... None.

A lady adviser was very helpful to me ,showed me how to pay a cheque in ,and told me the options , but this rude man other employee was not nice to a few customers, and he worked on the customer service desk, he needs to work on his attitude and manners, think if he served me I would have said something,

Useless. Closed all day Wednesday. You can't get more than £2k in cash unless you arrive between 12 & 2pm as they have nobody behind the counter. A person has to help you use the automated machines! Nobody knows where to queue. What a waste of time.

What a shambolic place. Frustrated. They don't know their ** from their elbow. Given one piece of information. An hour later told it was wrong. Don't they want my money???? Walked out in disgust.

Never enough staff. Shoddy service. If your a small business owner avoid at all costs. Their app is an absolute joke. Moved my account to HSBC as rates, service and app on a different level. Pathetic.

Have been a Barclays customer for many years, honestly service average like most large high street banks. Read reviews and went to branch with an open mind. Why is this branch even open on a Saturday, went to pay coins in machine has been removed and no counter service on a Saturday but please come back Monday to Friday between 9 and 4.30. So summary if you are a member of the population who works 9 to 5 then this is not the bank for you.
