Went to pick up a replacement card after receiving a text to say it had been delivered to store. I arrived at 5:15pm assuming I’d be able to collect my card as the store was open until 6pm, only to be told no one could get my card out of the safe! Why advertise that your branch is open until 6pm if no one can get a card out of the safe at 5:15pm!! Wasted trip and now have to wait till Saturday to collect the card as I work 9 till 5 Monday to Friday!

I went to this HSBC branch (Commercial road, Portsmouth). Two women who were behind cash counters were so unhelpful to the poor guy who seems like he was a foreign student at portsmouth uni. The lady keep on tellhing him to call telephone banking rather than being helpful. Staff name CLAUDIA(sitting on left) and an old lady(with glasses) who was sitting on right cash counter, sadly I couldn't read her name badge.

Willingness to help (genunie willingness) is lacking at this bank. I'm on the verge of closing my business account with HSBC as they have closed three branches in portsmouth making it difficult to go to this branch everyday as its very costly to go there everyday and pay for parking and wasting your time to drive in and out of the town.

Go with Lloyds, Natwest or Santander for your business banking as their customer service is Excellent. I have seen HSBC customer satisfaction has gone down the drain in recent years, well since 2014 it started going down the drain.

Went to sort my card out was told they can't do anything about it. Then went to pay some money off a loan was told I couldn't do it at the bank they said if they do pay the money and it doesn't come off the loan they won't be able to get the money back. After being there 40mins I then went home rung the bank and made the payment over the phone the woman on the phone then said,, sir you could have done all this at your local branch. (Useless)

been on the phone for 3 hours and 31 minutes trying to sort out a dispute. I went into the bank to try and sort this out and was told to go away and phone customer service. this is one of the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Always had great experience with Portsmouth HSBC. Some staff could be more helpful but in all i can't complain. Been to branch today to reorder and card and the lady was super helpful and apologetic about the wait while she sorted it.

The branch staff are poorly trained and incredibly rude, especially Steve and the girl that I forgot to take her name down at the front desk. They did not seem to care much about helping their customers, I wish I have not bothered to visit the brach for help today.

Fraud team stopped my transfer to my own different bank. Demanded in branch visit.
I have just come out of hospital and cannot go.

Operator said the Fraud team could free my account. They refuse to do so.

Not good enough.
