Barclays Bank

Unfortunately there is always a long queue and never enough staff. Any phone call made to Barclays end up in a long queue
with far too many options to choose from none of which most of the times are needed. What happened to old fashion personal customer service?

Always very friendly people working here, but the big job is finding any of them! It’s like a ghost bank… Long queues, one person trying to help everyone. Take a packed lunch with you and a bottle of water. You’ll need sustenance to get thru the ordeal… I gave up in the end and found another branch that seemed to recognise it has this strange phenomenon called customers, who turn up during opening hours. I guess, in microcosm, we’re witnessing the demise of high street banking. All rather sad, really…

I called in advance and they told me go any time imbetween 9:30 and 16:30 and they told me that they couldn’t have me speak to a banker after 14:00 wth are they doing for two hours??? Not to mention I only had to come here because my local branch was closed which they didn’t tell me when I was calling so I wasted my afternoon then aswell

Branch ‘open’ but can’t even check and ID - can go to Luton 😳 Service since Covid is very poor.

On the rare occasion you are forced to queue for the desk, you will be standing there for 3 days. Woefully slow service

It is almost has if Barclays grants you a front row seat to watch chairs Re-arranged on the Titanic before it sinks. Here for one hour already with little to show for it. Customer in front of me, same experience.

The staff is very helpful indeed. Only 2 staff members attending at the counter... Please be patient because its not their fault! Typical of Barclays Bank...I think this branch will be closed in the very near future...

One lady behind the counter & 4 people queueing, shame the lady trying to help the people use the self service tills wasn’t qualified as a teller, sure it would run a lot smoother and quicker, not the lady’s fault it’s Barclays cutbacks,
