Halifax

Extremely upset when i was refused service when i wanted to pay money into my partners Halifax account over the desk, i requested a receipt for my records and the consultant refused saying i had to pay money in a envelope and post it in the internal box....This was no help to me! I have since complained to their customer services and finding out i was in the right. Customer service says next time to ask for Manager if this happens again.

Popped into Halifax to removed myself from a joint account I held with my former partner. I was visibly upset, and the cashier was very understanding, sympathetic and aware of my needs.

1 Star because I was upset at the time, so this was not a pleasant experience.

Just went to pay money in at 4.45pm but was already closed with a guy doing stuff inside. Says opening hours are till 5pm but obviously the staff want to leave at 5pm so don’t care about the customers. Cheers

Had pleasant experience for opening accounts of my parent.

Tried to exchange an old 1 pound coin with them. They said I need to have a bank acc with them to exchange it.. That's why I'm probably not going to have a bank account with them.

I received an excellent customer service today/ 27 08 2021/ at Balham brunch of Halifax. I especially would like to give praise to cachier Colin, the kindest and most helpful person I have ever met. Thank you Colin.

Joke branch. They work if you want to call it that, the hours they want. Never open on time and usually closes around 2.30pm
