I went today to make a transfer from my account to someone else account the bank wasn’t busy at all, I was waiting at the line( was only me) for 5-10 minutes while two of the employees was talking, one of them( man I don’t remember the name) he saw me so I thought he called me to go there to help me while I am approaching in the desk I greet him “hello” but he completely ignored me, I told him that I would like to make a transfer and instead of helping me and without saying a word he raised his hand and he pinpoint where I should go I said to him again “thank you” but once again he didn’t say nothing and completely ignored me. I went in the other desk and I was waiting for another 5-10 minutes when a woman came and said to me to go again in the first desk and she will deal with my request that time so I went, while I was dealing with my issue and lady comes in the queue very well smart dressed and all of sudden the man that previously he completely ignored me he greeted her with a smile and very polite and he offered to help her 10 sec after she walked in. In that moment I felt completely mad and discriminated from his behavior, why he treated me like that because I was a foreign and I was wearing jeans and casual shoes? What kind of services is this? He made me feel straight away unwelcome and a low life person and that because I wasn’t dressed smart? This is what employees you hire in your branches? Maybe he needs to go to school for good manners because as it looks like I have more than him. Also in the same branch two weeks ago I went to deposit some money and instead of doing it in self service I went to the desk because I wanted to ask some question for my credit card, so there was sitting one lady so I told her to do me the deposit and after very politely I asked her where I can see when is the last day I have to pay out my credit card and where I can see my credit score, first thing she does laughs in my face and 20 seconds after she stops she tells me with an attitude in the paper we sent you home, what sort of service is this honestly! Please have a chat with employees you have in that branch because they service is terrible and their attitude, I never complain but today after this I left fuming and disgusted of the point the judge people of what they wearing and how they look like!
Special shout out to Paul Henry who went out of his way (twice) to help me with two stressful transactions. I had full comfort that everything was in order and he explained everything clearly.
Very pleased to be banking with Lloyds. Thank you!
