Rude and shocking customer service. Workers are not knowledgeable and the bank does not comply with money laundering regulations; I opened an account WITHOUT having to provide any sort of identification...awful and not secure. Do not bank with them!!

It is hard to believe just how bad this bank is, not just this branch but the bank as a whole, My advice is avoid santander like the plague. I will be switching my account ASAP and with banks like Natwest, Lloyds etc offering cash to switch, it is a no brainer.

Terrible attitude at front counter. Tried to get info on new account. Here's how it went Q. I want to open a new account. A. You have to do it online Q. It says you can do it in branch A. Well, there's no appointments for 2 months. Q. Gosh, how many appointments do you do a day? A. Five a day, we're only open for 6 hours.
Unbelievable! Not only the information but the arrogant, unhelpful way it was presented. So I took my money across the road to Nationwide, who were excellent.
Santander Nottingham, you do realise it is us do you a favour and not the other way round?!

Visited Clumber street branch a few days back and encountered the rudest, most hostile unhelpful, unfriendly member of staff!! KELLY who was just awful. I decided then, due to her rotten behaviour, I’d go to a different bank to transfer a large sum from an ISA… You really need to monitor your staffs behaviour and lack of decent manners. My sister and I were shocked at how rude Kelly was. Not a good advertisement for your bank at all! But then again, from the negative reviews of a similar nature on here, Santander do not care!!

Customer service here is very poor. Unfriendly, rude and unproperly trained staff that doesn't listen to customers and it happens all the time.

This is the worse branch I have been in. Plenty of staff members but one person on the counter and three people at the front chatting away as people are waiting to be seen. This is the worse review I have given anyone.
