Very rude and unhelpful and lazy lady Mrs Chambers. She did not listen to information told to her nor read the emails shown to her from the offices in Jamaica. She kept ask same questions as to why why, then she says this like if you had gone to the funeral then you could have gone to the branch in Jamaica to deal with your problem. She ask why not

My personal life is not her business and the fact that my dad dies near 4 years ago and I was try give the family there time to resolve te issue etc... which is what I was tell her about in first place. She made no.notes while talking to her so I had to repeat about 4 times.

I also had to ask a receipt for documents she copied as she did not want give one.

Do not waste your time thinking that banking with NCB is a good idea - the worst experience with an international bank ever. Unhelpful customer services, no follow through, poor online banking services, their general processes are not fit for purpose. Highly disappointed.

Had the pleasure of opening an acct with the branch. All went well with the first few transactions however, I've found that online transfers do take more than 5 days to reflect on local accts when deposits are made from the UK. It's not the best service when transacting business in Jamaica from overseas and equally, I tend to lose out on the exchange rate as it is calculated on the day it clears...... NOT the date it was sent. Staff have bent over backwards to assist whenever I call and the 3 stars review isn't a reflection of staff effort. The Jamaican banking system in general isn't equipped to cope with the services being driven. Online services are still operating at manual turnaround times when in fact, it should be real time updates ..... +/- 24 hrs maximum delay. Had to put a trace on my funds.......... inconvenience at its peak!

Miss Setal Singh has been brilliant!!! Her professionalism is exemplary and had it not been for her, I would probably have closed the acct as quick as I opened it.

Fantastic service, myself and my dad turned up and we were seen quite quickly. The staff were very accommodating, polite and professional. It is refreshing to be given such good service. If you are looking for an account, I would not hesitate to recommend this particular branch. A special thank you to the member of staff Mrs Thomas. I hope that all aspects of the banking system uses your level of professionalism.

My partner and I have had the pleasure of meeting Patrice from the Brixton Branch few weeks ago. Her approach was very warm, welcoming and professional. She was very knowledgeable about the services we required, and did not hesitate to point us in the right direction.
I have already recommend the Branch and suggest that they arrange an appointment with Patrice when they are ready. Job well done...
