The worse customers service ever! The santander cash mashine stole my money yesterday and I asked the santander's worker to resolve the problem immediately. He told me to wait in a long queue while I was 36 weeks pregnant with medical condition and 2 year old son in his buggy. His behaviour wasn't a human but a cyborg - no kindness, no humanity, no professionalism. I was upset and tired so I set down a bit far from the queue. The man didn't even come to me. I got into the queue and told him that he treated me verry unfairly. He did not resolve my problem. He said that santander has nothing to do with my issue about taking money from me. I was shocked. He sent me to my bank because I used Lloyds card withdrawing the cash from Santander cash mashine. His "help" took 10 seconds only and no apology, no real help. I came to Lloyds. The Lloyds manager told me it was Santander fault because the card worked very well. He didn't send me back and offered me a help.

I had to pay an American company $3253 in the equivalent GBP and Santander charged me £70 to do so. Good value?

Staff are friendly and helpful and I'd give a high star review on this. It's the outside ATM which is the problem and lowers this rating on this single annoyance. The bleep sound volume of entering your pin number is excessively loud and attracts attention. Last thing anyone wants when making transactions. This is worse than the supermarket self-check out voices, in which you can at least attenuate or mute.

Sentry on the door who complicates and interrogates you before you go in, if they let you in. Would recommend trying another branch.

No help whatsoever from a LIVE human being . Problem not resolved. No Human operator to help. Useless customer service.

As well as 2 exterior self service cash machines, there are 4 interior self service cash machines (2 of which will allow cash/cheque payments & cash withdrawals, plus another 2 cash withdrawal only machines). There's usually a member of staff near door to provide any assistance if required, as well as several cashier booths with dividing screens etc. There is a 1st floor where booked appointments are usually held for financial advice etc. Staff are always helpful & courteous.
