Very disappointed of the branch working hours, despite the fact that they have a timetable of working hours from 10 to 3pm (Monday to Friday),I was there at 11 am on Tuesday and the bruch was closed ,nobody was inside either and the light was turned off , whenever I need they do close it for God knows what kind of reasons. This is very annoying.

Nikki did a fantastic job helping me with some important transfers. Extremely diligent and efficient. I would recommend Nikki and the team and Harold Hill Natwest

This branch is closed for commercial reasons, I’ve just spoken with the complaints manager at Nat West, they’re claiming it’s because sickness due to COVID. However they have closed Harold Hill in order they can send the staff there to other branches who are short of staff.

They are unable to tell me when this branch will reopen and it’s clear customers who use this branch are being unfairly treated and sacrificed in order to keep other branches open. It’s a complete sham and an insult to any Nat West customers who rely on using this branch including many older and less well off customers.

I did respectfully suggest that perhaps the staff should do a week assisting another branch and then the staff at the other branch reciprocate and assist opening Harold Hill the following week but fear this fell on deaf ears as any such decision would have be made by directors so I’m told.

In order to obtain cash I had to go to the main branch in Romford where I joined a huge queue that took me 50 minutes to get served. This due to the fact there was only one single cashier working, funnily enough the same nice elderly lady who normally serves me at Harold Hill.

I was advised that the Nat West have a policy where they’re actively trying to force all customers to go online even those that are not able to manage online accounts. The fact that a major branch like Romford only operates one cashier bearing in mind other branches are closed is a disgrace.

I complained to the female manager who was hovering with a clipboard and said I wanted to make a formal complaint. I have her my details and she promised me somebody would get in touch with me. Two months later I’ve heard nothing.

The Harold Hill branch did reopen two weeks ago, Nat West are in my opinion hiding behind covid and using it as an excuse to remove bank branches and service to local people, they are not fit for purpose and are an embarrassment.

I’m still waiting to hear from complaints.....

Useless. It’s always closed. Need to do something which cannot be done online or on telephone.
