I booked an appointment and received a text confirmation of the appointment on Saturday. Two days later when I arrived for the appointment (today) I was told that they had been trying to call me all week and had been unable to get through to cancel the appointment. So why had they sent a text confirmation rather than a text cancellation message? Thankfully Barclays were able to fit me in without an appointment so I opened my son’s account there instead. This is the third time Halifax have messed up my appointments. Even if they have good rates it is not worth the hassle

Halifax Uxbridge was once amazing, friendly staff who knew you well and were efficient and helpful. Now no matter what time you get there, there is always a queue - whilst they take their time chatting amongst themselves and you wait and wait and wait. Horrible place. Barclays next door have really pulled their socks up, incredibly organised and functional and no matter what your issues are - they get sorted promptly.

This branch is closed much of the time. There is usually a sign on the door appologising for the inconnvenience, which is highly frustrating when you have made a special journey to go there. The staff look most unhappy in their work . Ive been a customer for many years and cant say its a pleasure to attend the branch but when needs must its not open. Pathetic!

That's the worst bank I have even used! They have been blocking my card almost every month for the last two years without any upfront notification. I had to spend 2-4 h on the phone each time, calling form another country and they have been lying that my card was unblocked which wasn't the case. Horrible people with zero working ethics, moral compass or any technical knowledge! Just a bunch of tricksters, fraudsters and liars!

Spent 2 hours here to move money from one account to another. Originally went to branch and was told to register on-line. Got my online account then tried to make a payment and was blocked and told to go into branch! In branch they made a call and let me wait on my own until the call was answered 15 mins later, told the person the problem and was told to hold then 30mins later he still hadn't come back to me.
I've now closed my account and will never darken their doors again. Shocking service and nobody seems to know what they are doing!

They are friendly and trust , honest, helpful, good listen. I know them very well. I used Halifax for much year that's why I trust Halifax. Same of them can British sign language which are brilliant. Better to be patience and waiting then they can able to help you. 🙏🏽

The staff (managers/customer service agents) working at the Hailfax branch in Uxbridge are absolutely perfect to the very highest degree! They are great listeners, well dressed, courteous, friendly and very knowledgeable. You do not have to wait for a very long time. They are and do an impeccably flawless/immaculate job!
