If you like a futuristic approach with flat screen terminals to deal with your queries, a light that looks like a flying saucer and you don't mind who's standing next to you while you do all this, then here 's a place you'll enjoy. I like clean open plan spaces when lm just there to get a transaction done quickly and l don't need any clarification from a human being. The second floor is the real deal breaker, because it's either too busy to get someone s attention or you may know more than the assistant ! It's definitely a different experience.

Since the lovely lady - Monica whom used to work at the counter left, everything seems to have gone down hill.
The line for the counter service is much longer and you sometimes have to wait up to 30 to be seen.
Monica we sincerely miss you!!

I have been waiting at the machine to print a statement and after waiting 20 minutes a staff member eventually told me that the machine doesn't print statement because broken. The machine kept saying "printing ..." no signs of the issue anywhere

Hardly any staff, huge queues, long waits and they make you listen to the hold music from their phone line in the waiting area (!) but the worst thing about Barclays is that they invest your money in planet destroying oil and gas. There are better banks.

Huge queues, only 1 counter point to service a queue.
I queued for 1 and half hour yo get served.
They really need to hire more staff.

Writing this as I’m in the bank. A queue all the way outside the door with only ONE worker behind a desk. A complete shambles. To make matters worse it absolutely stinks.

Respectfully, the service here is appalling. I have been waiting here for over 45 minutes, there are 7 other customers who are sat in the waiting room who have complained about not being seen. I’ve witnessed a staff member chatting and laughing with a colleague instead of helping the customers. They have been very rude. I would not recommend this branch, maybe another in a different area. I have also read multiple reviews saying similar stuff. I do not understand how management are not trying to improve this situation. I’ve never made a bad complaint before, however, I’m surprised how lazy every single staff member has been. I can appreciate when staff are busy, but when they’re standing in corridors laughing and joking, I think that’s completely unprofessional. Embarrassing that the manager of this company would want to hire these people. Paying people to just joke around and forget what they’re supposed to be doing, well I guess some people are desperate. I won’t come back, I really hope this changes before you lose your customers completely. I don’t mean to be rude, I just think it’s unfair to be waiting this amount of time. Take care.

This branch is managed by a group of incompetent, lazy, and time wasting employees.. They are obviously not incentivized to take more clients, they don't care if they spend a whole day serving one customer.. very poor management
