The fact that the Management don't do their job properly in terms of maintaining the level of the service is NOT the Employee's fault. I am a local and whenever I have business there the Employees are genuinely kind and helpful. I never felt intentionally dismissed or ignored. Not once. Despite all the bad review the Employees must be recognised. Hence the 4 stars.

Was expecting the worst after I'd read previous reviews, my local branch is temporarily closed and this happens to be the next nearest. There was a queue outside which I expected due to the current restrictions...but I was pleasantly surprised, the queue moved steadily and I whilst in the queue outside, a member of staff was checking what customers needed and we were ushered in according to whether we needed a cashier or machine. I was paying in some cheques so the assistant beckoned me inside and proceeded to help me with my deposit. I was very happy with the service I received today.

Hope I can give negative review...when barclay staff physically approved my documents and referred it.. and not able to open an account within...and worsts thing they don't have an answer for it... staff was very helpful...but hope Manager has to involve in such situations..

Today , I wait in queue more than15 minutes to be serve at counter, then BHARTi 10:08AM at the counter avoid to serve me with reason of by paying cash with booklet can be done over self service machine , her way of talking to Barclays customer was very unfriendly, and agrasive.
I called superviser , she was kind and ask BHARTI to get the money over the counter.
So, wasting time for other customer on the queue and bad customer service from BHARTI.

Unfortunately, Barclay staff have a bad level of customer service.
So, this bad behaviour will effect to other friendly staff.

The worst bank in the UK!!!!!!! Got there was told to wait in the line, 30 mins later I’m still waiting there, someone Walks past me and 2 other people and get served right away, Asian guy on the door said there’s not much he can do, terrible bank, I would expect this from a start up bank or a smaller bank, not a bank that is widely respected!!!! Ended up walking away after wasting an hour of my lunch for this!
